Our mission in the 2018 midterm election was to inspire the blue-leaning public to vote. It was all-important to let our voters know that our side (the side of Goodness) was going to win. That notion begat “The Wave.” To achieve this goal, we invoked none other than the better angels of our nature: human decency — and that this would be a turning-point in our society.
The response to the ad was overwhelming. And so was the vote on Election Day 2018.
With the House of Representatives in hand, human decency has a foothold. It’s a beginning.
