Working with the Rural Freedom Network, we created a series of ads to undermine the “reasonable bipartisan” image that Senator Collins had campaigned on for decades. These ads received approx. one million views from our target audience: the flippable center. But we lost the race. $50,000,000 spent on political ads to defeat Susan Collins in Maine was not enough to defeat this long-term incumbent, despite her mostly hard-right voting record during the Trump administration – including her wildly unpopular deciding vote on approving Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.
