Our mission in this 2018 midterm election campaign ad example was to inspire the blue-leaning public to vote by letting them know that our side (the side of Goodness) was going to win — and that this was going to be big. That notion begat “The Wave.” To achieve this goal, we invoked none other than the better angels of our nature: human decency — that jaw-droppingly fundamental ideal that gets trashed every day during this administration.

The response to the ad was overwhelming. And so was the vote on Election Day 2018.

With the House in hand, human decency has at least a fighting chance.
